Farm
Gotiti Washing Station operates with a strong emphasis on water management, traceability, and community responsibility. The station carefully reduces water usage throughout processing, separates coffee pulp from wastewater, and maintains detailed records that track coffee from individual farms through to export. These practices ensure both environmental protection and full transparency across the supply chain. Beyond processing, Gotiti plays an active role in supporting local farmers by distributing coffee seedlings, offering financial assistance to underprivileged producers, and paying quality-based premiums tied to delivered volumes. These initiatives strengthen long-term sustainability while reinforcing trust and collaboration between farmers and the washing station.
Process
Earlier this year, during the Spring Festival, the sourcing team traveled deep into Ethiopia’s coffee heartlands to oversee the production of Honeymoon Washed 2.0. After more than three months of preparation and evaluation, this benchmark expression of everyday washed Ethiopian coffee has returned refined and elevated. To further explore the potential of this upgraded method, a micro-lot was also produced at the iconic Yirgacheffe origin of Gotiti, using the same processing protocol. Both coffees were released together to highlight the nuances of this next-generation washed style across different terroirs.
